RELISH THE UNKNOWN
I’m an intrepid traveler into foreign territories, embracing the initial unknown, quickly getting up to speed on the culture and the terrain, developing the map, making the translations and moving full speed ahead.
I bring two ears to any conversation, providing ample space for you to share fully about your needs/project/desired outcome. As a former documentary filmmaker, I do ask lots of questions but will always listen clearly to your response.
SEE THE FOREST AND THE TREES
I continually seek the micro and the macro perspectives simultaneously. I think it just makes sense to do so.
PLOT A PATHWAY
Strategic planning is so important but often overshadowed by sexier things such as imagined outcomes and impacts. I strongly believe in drawing the map, creating a strategic plan of action and can help actualize this critical need quickly.
I’ve worked with a range of organizations that launch efforts but resign themselves to not seeing the action through to completion or have lesser concern about impact than initiation. It’s easier to start projects than see them through. I find viable doable solutions that can be actualized, and help identify the means to do so.
QUADRUPLE BOTTOM LINE MATTERS
Sustainability is a pathway, not an endpoint. The desired destination is not sustainabilty but to become increasingly healthy, thriving, productive and resilient. I can assist with mapping and implementing strategies that address the quadruple bottom line, efforts that will aid an organization in the long run.
INCLUSION AND EMPATHY MATTER
I have served on many rungs within organizations, often in the lower range. This breadth of experience ensures I bring a ground attitude of respect, inclusion and empathy to any organization. I see space where everyone’s voice is heard and valued.
AGAINST ALL ODDS
Who doesn’t love this theme in a movie? But I truly appreciate a good challenge and I see constraints as opportunities. Barriers, gaps, non linear pathways and ambiguity are thrills to be embraced. Necessity truly is the mother of invention. I believe projects are often stronger due to seen and unforeseen forces that compel innovation, new directions and unique destinations.
